ECHOS XI presents:
Abracadabra, a performance by Belinda Campbell
Belinda Campbell is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal, active in the performance art scene since 2004. Her practice combines performance, improvisation, video, music, and drawing, exploring the body, sound, and image as sculptural materials. A pianist and improviser, she develops musical projects integrated with performance and installation, alongside a video practice shown internationally. Her work has been supported by numerous residencies and grants, and her video works are distributed by Groupe Intervention Vidéo (GIV).
Les fruits l'hiver, a performance by Gabrielle HB
A musician and composer, Gabrielle HB moves between free improvisation and slow constructions. In performance, she finds ways to bring forth forms of tenderness, play, and transparency. She is one half of Désert mauve (Charline Dally) and of the ensemble Jardin Joue (Florence Garneau). Her work has notably been presented at the Musée d'art de Joliette, the Ann Arbor Film Festival (US), MUTEK (CA, ES, AR), the Société des arts technologiques, and the Suoni Per Il Popolo festival in Montreal. In 2025, she was artist in residence at PHI as part of the PHI Montreal residency.
THISQUIETARMY
