Ateliers Belleville is a cultural organization dedicated to artistic production, fabrication, and the development of projects in visual arts and interdisciplinary practices. The organization provides creative spaces and develops initiatives fostering collaboration between artists, artisans, and partners from the cultural and creative sector.
In a context of growth and structuring of its activities, Ateliers Belleville wishes to strengthen its communication strategy.
Under the supervision of the executive director, and in collaboration with our media and communications officer, the communications coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of the organization's communications.
They ensure the consistency of messaging, the visibility of activities, and the development of tools and processes adapted to the organization's needs.
The position also includes a strategic support role in the development of philanthropic fundraising initiatives, as well as in the deployment and promotion of services intended for members and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Develop and update the annual communications plan
Define priorities, communication directions, and editorial calendars
Ensure alignment of communications with the organization's orientations
Marketing and Audience Development
Contribute to the development of marketing and visibility strategies intended for members and the general public
Participate in the development and deployment of services and activities accessible to various audiences
Support initiatives aimed at increasing attendance, engagement, and the organization's visibility
Communications Management — in collaboration with the media and communications officer
Write, revise, and distribute content (press releases, press kits, institutional documents)
Ensure consistency of brand image and messaging
Maintain and develop digital platforms
Fundraising and Philanthropy Support
Participate in the implementation of communication tools related to fundraising campaigns and philanthropic initiatives
Contribute to the creation of promotional and institutional content intended for partners, donors, and collaborators
Support visibility strategies associated with fundraising activities
Coordination and Resource Management
Coordinate collaborations with external suppliers (graphic design, photography, copywriting, etc.)
Implement and maintain effective work tools
Ensure the circulation of information internally
Project and Activity Support
Develop and deploy communications plans for projects, events, and programs
Collaborate with the various teams to promote the organization's initiatives
Monitoring and Evaluation
Analyze the performance of communications activities
Produce reports and formulate recommendations
Adjust strategies based on results
Education and Experience
University degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in communication project coordination or management
Experience in the cultural or artistic sector is an asset
Skills
Excellent written communication skills in French
Good command of English, both spoken and written
Proficiency in digital tools and distribution platforms
Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple files simultaneously

Working Conditions
Part-time position: 25 hours per week
Hourly rate: $35 / hour
