Hangar 7826: Members Exhibition

From October 3 to 18, 2026, HANGAR 7826 presents LAB: Les Ateliers Belleville, a group exhibition featuring artists who are members of Ateliers Belleville.

The exhibition grew out of artist Gilles Tarabiscuité’s residency at Ateliers Belleville, which took place from February to May 2026 as part of an installation presented at Art Souterrain. During his residency, the artist met members of the Ateliers and discovered the diversity of their practices. These encounters led to the idea of bringing this artistic community together at HANGAR 7826, an exhibition space founded by Gilles Tarabiscuité.

Conceived as a “Salon,” the exhibition brings together works in a dense installation, with pieces sharing the space from floor to ceiling. This approach reflects the diversity of disciplines and practices found at Ateliers Belleville, while giving particular space to emerging artists and to those who have had fewer opportunities to present their work in a professional context.

Sculpture, installation, photography, drawing, textiles, ceramics, 3D printing, and mixed media come together in an exhibition that highlights the richness and diversity of the practices developed at LAB-545.
