Through staged activities, material-based scenarios and narrative games, the challenge will be to grasp the survival potential and death potential within a crooked little team over which you have no authority. Listen to the tricksters. Let the salt take a bite out of you. Learn to sympraxis. Maybe make it through an ending.

Welcome to families who enjoy parties. Epilogue to the collaborative shipwreck of Sink with, this final activity is a kind of wild costume-party-residency-open-house-pre-dismantling event open to everyone. Come dressed as a sea creature or aquatic object of your choice! Dance to the rhythm of the breaking waves! Leave with a souvenir looted from the wreckage of Un bateau pour faire semblant!
One rule only: no costume... no looting.
Mélanie O'Bomsawin Residency Open House

545 Legendre Ouest, Montréal
Mélanie O'Bomsawin's residency gave her the opportunity to explore how the massive digitization of the natural world is transforming our relationship with the physical world. Her work is based on photogrammetry created through video footage captured in the field, as well as scans of different people who are close to her. During her residency open house, the artist will present her research directions and the sources of inspiration that have nourished her throughout her residency.
